What is a model release form? When and why do I need one?Updated 2 months ago
For Jones Soda to use your photos containing pictures of people, we need to know that you've received permission to take their photo, and that we have received the rights to publish their likeness on our labels, website, and any other promotional items.
So any photo that has a "recognizable individual(s)" in the photo will need a model release form for each person. You do not need releases for large crowds however the danger of a claim against you and us grows as the size of the crowd diminishes.
You can find the Jones Soda Model Release form here.
Once you've submitted the photo, have all humans pictured sign it and include the URL to the photo. Remember, for individuals under 18 years of age, their parent/guardian has to sign for them.
